Child-First Curriculum

The Place that loves children and the Place children love!

Our teachers are ECE trained and love to see how the children develop their skills as they learn more about themselves and the world around them. Our teachers are  constantly learning new things. Each teacher regularly attends workshops and classes that focus on Early Childhood Education to further their skills as an educator and to provide new and fun learning experiences for the children.

Just Right Child Care is a licensed full day childcare centre. We offer a School Age Program as well! Children ages 18 months -
12 years old are welcomed.

Operating Hours:
7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Come in and get your pre-schooler ready for school. We offer an inclusive program that explores different topics each week coupled with learning the skills your child needs for "big school." Regular observations and attention help the teachers to develop and focus on programming ideas they can use in the classroom, to best suit the needs of each child in attendance. We offer children the opportunity to develop key pre-school skills such as science, math, name recognition, letter and number recognition, independence, and gym (Tumble Bugs), by adding them to our daily program.

We haven't forgot about the Toddlers! Socialization and learning through play, along with an inclusive program will fill your child's heart with the joy of learning. The program for Toddlers focuses on their needs and abilities as Toddlers and encourages curiosity through learning new things. We also provide positive social interactions with other Toddlers and our teachers.

We offer a full balanced menu too! Our menu offers two healthy snacks which are tailored with kids in mind. We offer a variety of choices to choose from and we help your child to develop self help skills by encouraging them to serve themselves. Our lunches are home cooked and fully balanced. It is our goal to provide the children with food that is nutritious, free of preservatives, full of exciting flavors and locally produced as often as possible. We even have our own fruit and vegetable garden where children can learn about where our food comes from and how to use the land for food sources. All of these things encourage children to make healthy eating choices and to be aware of how we can maintain a sustainable food source.
